Hunter left work early Friday afternoon to fly from London Southend Airport to Rennes France to be with his parents this weekend. We look forward to hearing his stories upon his return. Blaise, Oliver and Christina ventured out on their own Friday night to Leicester Square where they had a lovely Chinese dinner and then walked around returning home at around 11pm. It was a good night out.
Our weekend plan consisted of... well the first order of priority was the sleep in for the teenagers!!! then breakfast out and proceed to the queue at Wimbledon for the five o'clock entry. Sure enough after sunny weather all week this was the first day of rain, yes we have been very fortunate, so plans were modified. The students went out to breakfast along and then to a movie (22 Jump Street) at the O2 center on Finchley Road. Teresa and Ed bused and tubed down to Oxford Circus for some shopping at Libertys (clearly not Ed's idea). As we came out of the tube station we were immediately delighted to see a parade passing down Oxford Street and turning down Regent Street so stopped to enjoy the show. This was our first Gay Pride parade.
Today, Sunday we are meeting a tour bus near Victoria station to go to Stonehenge. This was very high on our list of items of interest so we are all glad the sun is again shining for this adventure. More when we return.
